I grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I say that with pride, but also knowing that the name Pawtucket barely resonates in Rhode Island, let alone in the rest of the world. While it’s the unofficial home of the American Industrial Revolution (thank you Samuel Slater) and the home to the Boston Red Sox farm team, little else happens there to elevate the city’s standing in the world.
